Sassy Turkey Loaf
1 Egg 3 T Sassy Sauces Cranberry Sass 1 slice Whole grain oat or wheat bread 1 lb. Ground turkey
Beat egg lightly in a medium size bowl. Add Cranberry Sass. Tear, or crumble bread, and mix well in egg-sass mixture. Add ground turkey and mix thoroughly. Bake at 375 degrees in small (5-1/2 x 3" x 2") loaf pan for 60-70 minutes. Serves 2 to 3 people.
Chewy Pear Squares (great low-fat, low-sugar snack or breakfast bar).
1/2 C All purpose flour 1/3 C Old fashioned oats (uncooked) 1/3 C Grapenuts cereal 1 t Baking powder 2 T Raisens 3/4 C Sassy Sauces Pear Sauce 1-2 t Orange juice or waterMix flour, cereals, and baking powder thoroughly. Stir in raisins. Add pear sauce. Lightly coat shallow baking pan (8" x 5" x 1 ") with cooking spray. Spread pear mixture in pan. If mixture is too stiff or dry, add one to two teaspoons of orange juice or water to moisten. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool about 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cut into eight 2" x 2-1/2" squares.
