March 12 : Chili Cook-off and Beer Fest.  A sanctioned International Chili Society Cook Off with local teams and individuals competing in the People's Choice category. Breweries from the Central Coast will be competing for Best Beer and will have their specialty beers available for tasting. Live music. Noon - 5pm, Morro Bay Community Center. March 20: Harbor Hut Luau. Harbor Hut will host a Hawaiian-Style Luau from 2-6 PM. The setting will be overlooking the bay on the Harbor Hut's patio, which has an island theme. April 2-3: City Wide Yard Sale. This annual event features a free treasure map that guides bargain hunters across the city to explore a concentrated number of yard sales. Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce (805) 772-4467.
